President's Message

Mission Statement

The MTCA shall be dedicated to the purposes of increasing the proficiency of Town Clerks and other local government officials, of strengthening the quality of local government through professionalism, and of promoting recognition of the importance of the office of the Town Clerk.

President's Message

It is a tremendous honor to serve as your president. Fifteen years ago, when I became a Town Clerk, it didn’t take me long to realize I had found my professional home, a place where my values aligned with those of my colleagues. Clerks are detail-oriented, methodical, hardworking, and, above all, dedicated to serving their communities. For us, it’s not just a job, but a calling!

I am grateful for the MTCA Presidents before me whose dedication, leadership, and vision have left a lasting impact on me. They have contributed so much to this organization and to our profession. Their hard work and commitment have shaped the MTCA into the vibrant, strong community that it is today. I’m incredibly grateful to follow in their footsteps and look forward to continuing the important work they have started.

I couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity to work alongside the talented and dedicated MTCA officers - together, I believe we have the potential to accomplish great things.

I want to encourage the MTCA membership, especially the newer clerks and assistant clerks, to get involved in this great association. You’ll find that by contributing your skills and perspectives, not only will you gain immense satisfaction, but you’ll also help us all grow stronger as an association. Together, we can make a difference.

I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to represent such a dedicated and passionate group of professionals, and I look forward to the continued journey of service to the MTCA.
